The Hortus is located close to some major other attractions in Amsterdam, such as Hermitage Amsterdam, Jewish Historical Museum and the Artis Zoo.

Tram: 9 and 14: Mr. Visserplein stop.

There are limited parking possibilities. Paid parking spaces are available at Markenhoven on the Anne Frankstraat and at Stadhuis – Muziektheater.
The Hortus is fairly accessible for wheelchair users. Some parts of the greenhouses are, however, difficult to reach. Please note that the paths of the garden are made of gravel. The Hortus does have a wheelchair for those visitors who are less mobile.
Special transport/ Disabled transport
It is possible to stop right at the entrance of the Hortus, and to guide wheelchair users or elderly people to the entrance gate. Long term parking is not possible at our entrance.
