In the Hortus, but also in many other places in the city, the Wisteria is flowering.These climbing plants grow up along facades, racks or other trees.

You can recognise the plant by the large clusters of purple-blue flowers. Quickly collect all your purple pencils and paint to colour the flowers of the Wisteria.

Trees in spring

In April more and more leaves grow on trees and shrubs.
All leaves have different shapes and different colours of green.

Several carnivorous plants grow in the Hortus. These plants feed themselves by attracting insects with their beautiful scents and colours. This way they catch various insects, such as mosquitoes, fruit flies and spiders.
