During Museum Night 2026, the Hortus transforms into an adventure for anyone curious to discover more about this historic botanical garden. Follow an illuminated trail past remarkable trees and plants, and uncover stories from nearly 400 years of Hortus history.

No botanical knowledge is required – curiosity is all you need. Find out why plants smell the way they do, how some species trap insects, and why a poisonous tree can also provide an important medicine.
