Workshop: make your own paper flowers
The amazing Stine Berg Evensen is back at the Hortus for a workshop paper flowers.
You will be working with scissors, paper, watercolours and a little glue. Stine will teach you how to make flowers that are indistinguishable from the real plant.
Stine has her studio in Amsterdam and makes watercolour flowers from paper, based on wild plants in her own neighbourhood and on the outskirts of the city. She has previously exhibited at the Hortus Botanicus, as well as at the Zaans Museum, Paleis het Loo and various visitor centres.
There are two different workshops: on Friday 13 March and Saturday 21 March.
On Friday 13 March, you will make a snake’s head fritillary, and on Saturday 21 March, a buttercup.
