22 April - 29 April
Children's workshop: Sunprint stories
This May holiday, we’ll be making plant prints with the help of the sun! These botanical blueprints are inspired by the work of Anna Atkins. Create your own composition, wait 5–10 minutes, and let the sun do its work. Take a close look: can you see a creature, an animal or a whole scene in your print? Make three prints and use them to tell your own story.
This activity takes place on Wednesday 22 and 29 April from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm in our Glass Room.
It is suitable for all ages. Participation is free – you can just walk in during your Hortus visit.
Please note: spots are limited, so make sure you’re on time if you want to participate.
