The Laranjazaal
The Laranjazaal, perched on the upper floor of the historic Orangery, offers a truly inspiring setting for meetings and gatherings. From one side, you can enjoy stunning views of Amsterdam’s iconic canals, while the other side provides a peaceful retreat overlooking the botanical garden and the Climate House.
Exclusively reserved for your group, the space ensures privacy and focus. You’ll have access to your own facilities, including a coffee machine, presentation screen, and flip chart, making it perfectly equipped for productive sessions.
Rental hours
The Laranjazaal can be booked in the following time slots: 09:00–13:00, 13:00–17:00, and 18:00–22:00.
Capacity
Meetings in the Laranjazaal can accommodate up to 40 participants.

Escape game Plant Code
Are you looking for a suitable outing for your company or organisation? Have fun solving puzzles together in the Hortus and crack the plant code!
No knowledge of biology or plants is required. A keen eye, a knack for puzzles and logical thinking are all you need. And you’ll be learning about the plants in the Hortus and their origins. Teamwork is key, with a healthy dose of friendly competition. Which team will crack the code first?
This ‘Plant Code’ escape game takes place in the Hortus and lasts up to 90 minutes. It’s open to groups of between 4 and 25 people.
Cost: €200, including a guide.
