1 +1 Hortus ticket - Special offer for Amsterdam residents

From 1 to 31 December, we are offering a special 1+1 ticket, which allows two people to visit the Hortus for only €13.50 (that’s two for the price of one).
Last summer, we opened our new Climate House with a special programme for Amsterdam residents. And we are ending this year with one last gift: a 1+1 ticket for Amsterdam residents. The greenhouse is, of course, the perfect place to warm up in winter. Book a short trip to the tropics or the South African landscape. See you soon!

Terms and conditions
Anyone residing in the Municipality of Amsterdam can purchase a 1+1 promotional ticket – priced at €13.50 – from 15 November onwards. This ticket grants access for two individuals to the Hortus Botanicus during the month of December 2025.
The promotion is valid during all opening hours from 1 to 31 December. This promotion is exclusively for residents of Amsterdam. When purchasing the promotional ticket(s), you declare that the visitor(s) for whom you are making the reservation live in the Municipality of Amsterdam. During your visit, you must be able to provide proof at the entrance; your driving licence or ID card shows your municipality of residence, and various apps on your phone (bank, shops) also show your home address. You can also bring a piece of mail.
The promotion cannot be combined with the entrance discount offered by a Hortus Friends Card, a City Pass, the Friends Lottery VIP Card, IAmsterdam City Pass and/or CJP.
For safety and heritage preservation reasons, a maximum number of visitors per day may be applied.
